Welcome to the USS Mir, the Las Cruces, New Mexico chapter of STARFLEET International Inc.  Our transporter chief will take care of any luggage you may have brought with you.  Your quarters have been assigned and you will be added to the duty roster by the end of the day.  Your first shift will start tomorrow.  For now, let's get you settled in and start familiarizing you with the ship.  Use your free time to tour the ship, visit your duty section and get to know your shipmates.  The Captain has been informed of your arrival and has invited you and all of the our new arrivals to a dinner reception in Ten Forward starting at 1900 tonight.  I hope you packed your dress uniform.  All of our senior staff will be there, so please take advantage of this opportunity to meet all of the Division Chiefs.
